      After I reading this book, I have a probable realization about what typography is. From this text, we can know that typography is the visual component of the written words. Like the author said, “typography matters because it helps conserve the most valuable resource you have as a writer-reader attention. Obviously, typography is one of the important elements of a essay. I think typography just likes the people’s behaviors, because it can be seen directly by other people. However, behaviors cannot judge a person correctly. But it can help us judge a person much better.

     On the other had, the book also tells us that attention is the readers’ gift for you and it is   precious. Good typography can help readers devote less attention to the mechanics of reading and more attention to your message. So typography plays an important role in our writing.

This video lecture lasts about 20minutes. As a normal people, we all prefer to a short and concise way, which can tell the same thing. I think infographic can do it.  The infographic only uses one page to tell the whole story with vivid pictures. This is the biggest advantage than a video. It asked people to use less time and energy to understand one thing.
    For me, I prefer infographic, because I have much homework to do in university. It is luxurious for me to spend a long period of time to watch a video. Infographic is easy to follow with and it can briefly describe one thing in short page. However, actually, it is obvious that a video is more attractive. People are more enjoyable in a video because it has voice, body language and even performance. We can imagine while the author is talking. Everything all has two sides, so we should choose the better depends on what we need.

3) Infographic essay has much more infographic which straightly show the point the author wants to convey to readers. in this essay. It is more eye-catching and it’s easier for us to focus on and remember what the writer want to show us different from the traditional essay.
4) Infographics have obvious advantages in immediacy and data visualization. infographic is easier to understand and show the differences among three different types of phones. It is more directly than normal essay. However, essay is more clear to tell the readers difference by text. it will decrease the misunderstanding.
5) Although there are many pictures and graphs to show the author’s viewpoint, but there are also many words to describe what this infographic talking about with clear purpose and main ideas. It also provide the analysis of data about three steps for you  to become attractive.

    This article is very cool. The author says, “discovering new music is always an act of revolution for him.” When he found a new music, he always thought it was a revolution. And the real rock stars are the curators; they can bring you the music you will love. When the author grown up, he gradually realized how music brought positive effects to his life. When it comes to Internet services, automated song suggestions can be like gift-wrapped CD from your parents. In my opinion, I think DJ is a cool job that I ever want to be.  They all have millions of tracks and they can bring much fun to the listeners to make them feel relaxed from the whole day of tired work.

 These visual pictures tell us the steps of finding a true love and 25 tips for writing the perfect profile, 

selecting the right photo and understanding your audience. First, you should choose words to attract 

suitors.  Then you should pick a photo. It teaches you how to distinguish gay and lesbian.  The third 

step you need to optimize your target audiences. The most important thing is giving them what they 

want rather than what you think is good. At last, you should mind your daily manners. It pays to be 

respectful, approachable, and grammatical. However, I do not think we should only focus on people’s 

appearance. Although it can tells how this person look like and show whether his life style is similarly 

to us, the main point is whether you have a kind of feeling from your heart. Love is easy but also 

difficult, because finding a right person is not like choosing a kind of good.

   Web 2.0 to Social 3.0 and Safety pin as Signifier are two different types of articles but each of them is talking
 about one thing. The article of social was mainly describing what is social 3.0 and how it developing. There is
 only a little quotation in this article. The author just makes a clear and concise description of what he wants t
o tell to readers. Readers will get much information from this article. On the contrary, Safety pin as signifier is
 a typical research paper that tells us how “punk” grows until now. It includes many quotations to support author's 
viewpoint. He examples many famous bands, professors and experts’ words to make the article more abundant 
and also make readers convinced. This article contains oral history and ethnography to collect data. “Punk” plays a 
important role in cultural history and has a huge effects to many people in their life.

Our life is changing, the Web is also changing. From Web1.0 to Web2.0, the process of web developing becomes much stronger and more functional which is named social 3.0 now. Why it can makes the front page of New York Time in 2013?  Because social 3.0 software supports synchronous collaboration, i.e., real-time, simultaneous, collaboration rather than just providing information. Two or more individuals can verbally conversing. They are either co-located or more interestingly, not co-located. I think there will be much cooperation happen in our life if Social3.0 comes into use in our life. For example, it can help us on study. We will strengthen our sense of community while we are using social 3.0. It will make things much easier to deal with, to communicate and work out.105On the other hand, there will be more ideas and products in the group work by using social 3.0.
